Frequently Asked Questions
Do I pay anything for the consultation?
No. The 30-minute call is completely free. There is no obligation to book, and I will never pressure you. You will leave with honest direction regardless of whether we work together.
How far in advance should I start planning?
For European river cruises and guided tours, 12 to 18 months ahead is ideal. For Alaska cruises, 9 to 12 months. For custom European itineraries, 6 to 12 months gives us the best options. That said, I have worked miracles on shorter timelines, so reach out even if your trip feels close.
What if I already know exactly what I want?
I earn a commission from the suppliers I book (hotels, cruise lines, tour operators). For custom itinerary planning, I charge a planning fee, disclosed upfront before you commit to anything. You never pay more than if you booked directly, and often you pay less.
How does a travel advisor get paid?
Even better. Bring your vision to the call and I will tell you honestly whether it is achievable, what it will cost, and how I can make it better. Many of my best trips started with a client who already had a clear picture.
